When will I receive my order?
All items are handmade to order, please allow about 2 weeks until your order is complete and shipped. You will receive an email with your tracking when your package ships out.
Can I return my item?
Please understand that all items are custom made to order. I stand behind my pieces and will be happy to work with you if there is a problem. No returns on Sale items.
I hope that you will love the item you buy. However, if you are not happy you can return the unused item within 14 days of the shipping date. Please e-mail for a refund or exchange within 7 days of receiving your purchase by emailing email@example.com. The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received. Returns or exchanges made without prior e-mail notification may not be processed.
Return shipping charges are non-refundable and full responsiblity of customer. Stitch & Swash's original shipping costs are also non-refundable and will be taken out of the total amount refunded.
How do I take care of my leather bag?
Because leather is a natural product, each bag will bear individual characteristics from it's hide's history. These natural markings in no way affect the strength or wearability of the leather and, in effect, provide nature's stamp of uniqueness. Good leather doesn't wear out, it wears in - gaining a smooth, soft surface.
Regular, gentle dusting or sponging with a soft brush or cloth removes abrasive grit and prevents build up of body oils and salts which can damage the protective topcoat of your leather. Gently wipe off stains and spills immediately with a soft damp cloth. Do not rub or scrub. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat to limit fading and dryness.
Remember, pet claws can scratch and scar leather. Do not use cleaning solvents, furniture polish, oils, abrasive cleaners, detergent soaps, or ammonia water. If necessary for spots and spills, use clean lukewarm water only and let air dry naturally. If a stain persists, Lexol leather conditioner is a good product, and also great for re-moisturizing a leather bag. Test any new product in an inconspicuous area before using. Many find that 'Shining Monkey" and Apple Guard are the best products for protecting a leather purse without changing the appearance. I prefer to let leather items gain their patina. Before trying any product, test it out in an inconspicuous spot.
Rather than wearing out, all great quality leather will develop a great natural patina and change in its appearance over time as it rubs against your body and hands.

Do you charge sales tax?
Washington State Residents will be charged 10.1% sales tax upon checkout.
What are your shipping policies?
All items are handmade to order, please allow 1-2 weeks for shipment.
I do not pay for extra insurance, just delivery confirmation. If you would like insurance on your item in case it is damaged or stolen, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I'll send you a request for funds for the insurance amount via paypal. If your payment is over $250, signature confirmation is required. Please make sure that your shipping address given at checkout is correct. Customer is responsible for extra shipment charges if item is returned because of a wrong address.

I display the value of the merchandise for customs declaration. I do not mark packages as gifts on customs forms, so you are responsible for paying any taxes or tariffs. Extra shipping costs because of item being returned due to customs not being paid, or item not being picked up, are the responsibility of the customer. For all other questions please convo me.
